Tim Turner is Director of JetReports Australia New Zealand. Tim has a finance background, and was first exposed to MS Dynamics while working as CFO for a local manufacturing & exporting organization. Here Tim selected & ran the implementation of Dynamics NAV, and also implemented JetReports as part of it. Tim now distributes JetReports through Microsoft partners in Australia & New Zealand, and has a keen interest in NAV. Tim’s business uses NAV  and CRM internally, so he is also a user.

Description:

JetReports is an application which allows users to create their own reports, dashboards etc  from their databases using excel.  JetReports was developed by MS Dynamics NAV developers, and integrates tightly with Dynamics. In this usergroup session we explore what JetReports is, how it fits in to the Dynamics & Microsoft stack, and how Dynamics users have used jet in their businesses. Topics include:

1. A brief background of JetReports.

2. Practical  applications of JetReports and how some organizations to help run their business.

3. We will go through designing a report from scratch from a sample Dynamics NAV database, and will also include data from Dynamics CRM in the same report.

4. For the excel users amongst you, we will also introduce a new community site for excel users to share tips & tricks.
